Other Event Information
You may wish to install further information for your event such as the Type of Event, Featured Image, Excerpt and Additional Content.
Event Type
Located on the right side menu, you will be able to see a list of drop down options, firstly look for Event Type and open this drop down.
There is a predefined list of locations in which your event will take place. Tick the relevant location for your event.
What does this do?
- This helps your user to quickly identify where your event is located.
- Users are also able to search events by the locations listed, this will ensure your event appears for the relevant location.
How does this look?
- Below is your event card (listed on the What’s On page).
Featured Image
How to use this
- Located on the right side menu, you will be able to see a list of drop down options, look for Featured Image and open this drop down.
- Click on Set featured image. This will open the website’s media library (this is all of the images being used on site).
- Pre-loaded images have been added for each event organiser. Use the search bar in the top right; search Featured Image – (Insert Organisation Name) to locate your set image.
- Once your image has been located, click the image and then click Set featured image, at the bottom right.
- Your image will now appear as a thumbnail under the Featured Image dropdown on the right.
What does this do?
- This adds an image to both your event card and event page.
How does this look?
- Below is your event card (listed on the What’s On page) and your event page.
Excerpt
How to use this
- Located on the right side menu, you will be able to see a list of drop down options, look for Excerpt and open this drop down.
- This area is an open text field to be used for detailing who your event is for, examples below:
- Family Friendly
- Outdoor
What does this do?
- This helps your user to quickly identify who your target audience is within the Resettlement community.

- Below is your event card (listed on the What’s On page).
